The film story follows the international group of researchers who are performing the scientific expedition in a remote high altitude Kyrgyz village named Sary Mogol. The general aim of the movie is the promotion of science and culture, and the capturing of the beauty and the way of living in a harsh mountain environment. The local Kyrgyz residents try to reply to the following important questions: how do the humans live there? Is it hard, is it challenging? Would they ever change this remote, snowy and cold place, which they consider their home, for anything else? In addition, several renowned scientists are describing different relevant topics, such as geography and demography of the country and the high altitude village Sary Mogol, how to do properly the scientific expedition in a remote area and what kind of the diseases may occur due to the specific conditions of the high altitude. As a conclusion, if we know better, we, as a humanity, will fit better in the times of the global and dramatic climate changes.
