This is a biopic based on the life and work of an anthropologist Professor Dor Bahadur Bista. Prof. Bista is a leading anthropologist of Nepal and is remembered to this day for institutionalizing anthropology and sociology in Nepal. Especially, after 1990 he devoted his prime time in the mid west of Nepal, Jumla , Chaudhabisa engaging into community welfare and founded Karnali Research Institute in Chaudabisha where Chaudabisha people remember him for his philanthropic and developmental works he did for those community. The film characterizes the life history of Bista. On 11th of January 1996 on the way to Kathmand he flew from Jumla to Nepalgunj from where he went missing and has not been seen since. Where have he gone then? Did he commit suicide or somebody kidnapped him or did he go into concealment– People attribute various speculations regarding his mysterious disappearance.
